How is it that I can manage to gaze upon and interact with the most perfect specimens out there yet attain none of them(?). These people speak of rational thoughts as if rationality must exclude the staggering tug that instinct and emotion have on the human mind. I often feel as though they say this because they fear stretching their necks out too far by expressing themselves in a manner that might actually get them what they want. Is this the truth..or is it really that they are so dumb/numb that they cannot see what has been given to them...
I am tired of being the one to take the steps..I do it all the time. I think from now on I'll let others move their pieces across the board first. The truth is, if they are not strong enough to do that..than they have little use to me. Perhaps it is indeed the strongest test of wanting and their character. Is there no one out there brave enough to handle the jump? I want to plant my roots and be happy about it, that's all. Can I trust you to keep this secret...
The greatest dream I tasted was made of nothing, my death rattle only sought out one thing..which was nothing. But in those times that are to come in between here and the end..I want something. I am real. I just wish you could be to.
